Management of childbirth in a pre-hospital environment with a practical and economical set of materials and equipment
Abstract
Assisting childbirth in prehospital settings poses a great challenge due to the unexpected and quite often emergent nature of such cases. This study describes a practical, simple and low-cost set of materials and equipment that can be utilised by local authorities to assist normal childbirth and ensure safety and efficiency in the management of prehospital births.
